Walker Cup on Sky Sports: Great Britain and Ireland chasing home win over Team USA

Amazing Britain and Ireland will go this weekend Together with coverage from the amateur Occasion on Sky Sports.

Royal Liverpool hosts the tournament, the equivalent of the Ryder Cup, in which GB&I are bidding to regain the prize’ .

This year’s 10-man GB&I team involves the inaugural winner James Sugrue, the English Amateur champion Conor Gough and Alex Fitzpatrick – brother of Matt Fitzpatrick – while the American side comprises Stewart Hagstead, who’s played in the last three US Opens, along with world # 1 amateur Cole Hammer.
Sky Sports will get protection of the contest, beginning with a special preview show on Friday evening from 9pm, with one-hour highlights for the two tournament days on Sky Sports Golf and reports on the Sky Sports website.
