Odds on Every NHL Team to Make or Miss the Playoffs in 2019-20

Even the 2019-20 NHL season is right around the corner, and both puck bettors and sportsbooks are eagerly awaiting the official puck fall of the brand new effort as soon as the defending Stanley Cup champion St. Louis Blues along with also Washington Capitals kick things off on October 2. Odds have been released on each NHL team to make or miss the playoffs this season if you’re looking for a different type of futures prop.
At BetOnline, the Tampa Bay Lightning will be the heaviest chalk to make the drama at -500, with the Toronto Maple Leafs (-350), Vegas Golden Knights (-350), Colorado Avalanche (-300) and Boston Bruins (-300) right behind them.
If it comes to clubs that oddsmakers are giving the longest chance to go to the postseason, the Ottawa Senators (+625), Detroit Red Wings (+375), Los Angeles Kings (+275), Anaheim Ducks (+275) and Buffalo Sabres (+180) tabbed as likely to achieve the promised land.
Value-wise, I am around the Chicago Blackhawks to get back to the playoffs in their EVEN odds that are present. I believe the’Hawks have been undervalued due to their underwhelming previous few seasons, but the offseaon free agent signing up of Robin Lehner could work great things for their postseason hopes.??
Lehner was a Vezina Trophy candidate at his only season with the New York Islanders and can be set to connect a Blackhawks team that has had no problem scoring goals but also have fought to keep the puck from their internet. Corey Crawford’s best days are behind him, so I think Chicago could be in for a major bounce-back season if Lehner can coast up things in between the pipes.
BetOnline is high on New York to create the playoffs. But in their +115 price to overlook the postseason, I am more than comfortable to back them in the number. Minus Lehner in the fold, I still anticipate any regression on Long Island, although the Islanders would be the surprise team of this 2018-19 year.
