Anthony Joshua says when he fails to be a world winner that he will not be pleased with his heritage in boxing.
The Briton dropped three of those four belts along with the set will fight on 7 December from Saudi Arabia.
Joshua told the BBC that he knows theproblems which caused the shock loss and explained how he has funded better sparring for the rematch.
I really dont believe Id be content if I dont win the names, stated Joshua.
For me as a guy it means anything.
Asked if his legacy hinges with this particular bout, Joshua explained:When its all said and done and I hang up my gloves, then thats when we could have the discussion about heritage.
But asked if hed be satisfied with a heritage as a one-time world heavyweight champion he simply respondedno.
Ill beat Andy next time, he further added. You will be asking me a whole pile of different queries on December 8th.
Joshua flies to Saudi Arabia on Saturday at the weekend are set up because of his coaching to 27, and a number of his team arrive.
The former IBF, WBA and WBO winner says in the aftermath of his seventh-round stoppage reduction at Madison Square Garden – the very first of his profession – he immediately returned to coaching to work ontrial and error aspects of his craft and things hewanted to test without impinging on his own defined 12-week training camp.
He focused to being conditioned to start sparring instantly in his camp as opposed to wait till six or seven weeks out from the Diriyah struggle and says refining his boxing skills has become a significant focus in his coaching combination.
As is Bryant Jennings, who lost his own world heavyweight title shot to Wladimir Klitschko at 2015 former cruiserweight world-title challenger Andrew Tabiti is in Sheffield sparring with Joshua.
I feel as though sparring has added a different section of preparation for this fight, Joshua added. Last time let us say I didnt purchase the sparring I desire.
Fighters dont need to spend what they earn. You get #100, you cover #43 into the taxman, you spend a commission to your direction and before you know it youve got 30%.
So this time around weve invested in the proper sparring partners, championship sparring spouses. That is the kind of thing that gets your muscle firing.
Joshua has earned two pad men for his training, allowing trainer Robert McCracken that the chance to see rather than be the guy.
His hope is with focus on stringing, he can evade the kind of heavy shot that floored him for the very first time seconds, at New York after hed put down Ruiz in around three.
Pundits said Joshua rushed to locate a end after knocking on the down and calls for him to increase his chances from boxing rather than pursuing a knockout this time are prevalent.
However, asked what hed do if he receives Ruiz in trouble in the rematch he responded:Nail him . The rhythm, your fluidity – boxing is milliseconds. That split second time to bypass this punch, another time I am in there, that is why Im prepared, that the co-ordination, the muscle memory, so I must be fine-tuned.
Conspiracy theories which included accusations were endangered by Joshuas first defeats stunning nature.
Each has been dismissed as fiction but inquired if he understood exactly what was missing for what was that his US debut, Joshua replied:Yes, but I am not going to mention what it was. It had been me, nothing like partying or anything like this.
It was not burnout. The problems Ive faced in the last camp, it is just down to lack of expertise. Even though it was at a high level we were finding experience.
In comparing his performance to that of when he beat Wladimir Klitschko despite being bogged down in 2017, Joshua stated he senseddrained from Ruiz.
Andy Ruiz is good but I do not believe he should conquer me twice, additional Joshua.
I used to listen to guys say you have to have a loss and I would thinkwhy?
Today I can know it and know what it requires. Ive got more understanding so that is making me smarter as a 22, and my ears have been open to information that is new. Anyone can be hungrier, I am smarter.
The benefit is I have a second opportunity and here we are.
Ruiz took his chance to resist at New York at six months notice and Joshua anticipates his rival togrow awarded his champion status.
Eddie Hearn, who promotes Joshua, added:What you are seeing now is the result of a rebuilding process.
AJ has dedicated himself more than anything he has done to getting victory in Saudi Arabia. The truth is, he must be beating on Andy Ruiz, if AJ is the best heavyweight in the world.
But now you have all the demons coming into perform, the whole world watching and that is high level, high-pressure stuff.
