Giro d’Italia winner Richard Carapaz is not able to compete at the Tour of Britain as his visa hasn’t yet been issued at time.
Movistar rider Carapaz has raced as winning in June in Italy.
The Ecuadorian, 26, was set to race alongside fellow lecture of Mikel Landa and Britain debutant.
This past week after registering a whole lot deal carapaz will combine Team Ineos from the 2020 season.
Movistar said in a statement:”Regrettably, and despite the Movistar Team after all processes, Richard Carapaz’s visa for the Tour of Britain hasn’t been granted in time for him to travel to the race,” Hector Carretero will probably soon be substituting that the Ecuadorian.”
In linking Team Ineos, Carapaz links up with three additional Grand Tour winners – Chris Froome, Geraint Thomas and Egan Bernal – also as Ben Swift, that signed a contract extension on Friday.
