Britains Andy Murray reached his first ATP semi-final since 2017 with a victory over Marius Copil at the European Open.
Three-time Grand Slam champion Murray came through 6-3 6-7 (7-9) 6-4 in 2 hours 35 minutes in Antwerp.
The Scot held match point before Copil fought back and served for the match at 5-4 in the second set.
The 32-year-old made the break in the final set to reach the last four.
Murray will face either Ugo Humbert or even Guido Pella of France in Saturdays semi-finals.
It is the world number ones first semi-final because the 2017 French Open, when he dropped to Stan Wawrinka.
