Jumps season kicks off at Chepstow with Persian War

The waiting is over for National Hunt fans since the for its season in Chepstow occurs on Friday, using all the Unibet Persian War Novices Hurdle highlighting that the very first of two weeks.
Fergal OBrien runs Paint The Dream and Champagne Well in the Grade Two, and yet despite the former being a much shorter price, the trainer believes theres small between them.
I wouldnt need to split themto be honest, explained OBrien.
Paint The Dream did nothing wrong last year and ended up dropping on his very final run. Hes there on his virtue, although he is just a beginner and will go chasing after that. If we did not believe he was great he would be in an ordinary novice.
Hes had a excellent summer at home along with his owner, so that I wouldnt want to split them.
Champagne Well did really well this season and is extremely solid, but what I shall say is Paint The Dream has had a terrific summer and looks excellent, so Im excited about seeing the couple of those.
Rebecca Curtis comes with a rating of 140 to boot and runs Ruthless Article, who has enjoyed a summer.
I believe he has a ridiculous rating really, they have a tendency to get overrated in the summertime, I dont think he is a 140 horse, she said.
Hes hard to set as hed have three penalties from a normal novice and he would fight off 140 in a handicap.
Hell have a twist around and then have a rest before coming back out next summer. Hes earned a crack at this.
The Philip Hobbs-trained Thyme Hill, who had been third in the Cheltenham Bumper, Paul Nicholls Trevelyns Corn along with Alan Kings Harambe are one of the runners.
Nicholls told Sky Sports Racing:Its a competitive race , but he had a breathing functioning in the summer and we have always had this race as a goal, because hes just a beginner until November 1.
He is healthy and well and should run well
From the Dunraven Windows Novices Chase Curtis runs Lisnagar Oscar, after winning a Grade Two at 27, well fancied for the Albert Bartlett.
Three miles at Chepstow can take a while getting, especially first time out, but hed remain it nicely over conflicts, explained Curtis.
I believe hell encounter a great piece for the encounter, but he could operate as good as some of his competitors so I am hoping to get a fantastic run.
Hes not the largest, but hes a smart little jumper. I am hoping he will make a chaser, but well find out on Friday.
OBriens De Title Evades Me has been and is another.
He never defeated us a year ago and hasnt been out of the first four because we have had him, said OBrien.
He had been second at Cheltenham (into Aux Ptits Soins) on tender earth, which we did not think he would enjoy, and is only a real solid horse. Im anticipating seeing him.
He will enjoy the trip and hopefully its something to build on
The Professor Caroline Tisdall Supports Heroic Jumpers Veterans Handicap Chase sees some old favourites like Regal Encore and The Young Master line up.
Curtis conducts 2018 Scottish National enthusiast Joe Farrell, who had been fancied for the Grand National itself last season but discovered it arriving too soon after trauma.
He appears in very good shape. Last year he had an accident at this stage of the season, but hes fine now, explained Curtis.
He ran a wonderful race at Newbury, but those remaining chasers desire time between their races and we had been so pushed for time getting him ready for the National that he probably did not have enough time between his races.
Hopefully this season will work out much better because of him.
OBrien runs.
It will be a nice starting point for him personally, hes starting off here in order to up him to go to Cheltenham in a couple of weeks, explained OBrien.
