Jumps season kicks off at Chepstow with Persian War

The waiting is over for National Hunt fans as the for its season at Chepstow occurs on Friday, using the Unibet Persian War Novices Hurdle highlighting the very first of two days.
Fergal OBrien runs Champagne Well and Paint The Dream at the Grade 2, and yet regardless of the former being much shorter price, the trainer believes there is little between them.
I wouldnt need to divide themto be fair, said OBrien.
Paint The Dream did nothing wrong this past year and ended up dropping on his very last run. He is there on his merit, although hes just a beginner and will go chasing after this. If we did not think he was great enough he would be in a normal novice.
Hes had a terrific summer at home with his owner, so that I wouldnt want to split them.
Champagne Well did really well last year and is very solid, but what I shall say is Paint The Fantasy has a wonderful summer and looks excellent, so I am looking forward to seeing the pair of them.
Ruthless Article, who has enjoyed a fruitful summer is run by rebecca Curtis and also has a score of 140 to boot up.
I think he has a ridiculous evaluation really, they are inclined to go overrated in the summer, I do not think he is a 140 horse, she said.
He is difficult to set as hed have three penalties from a standard novice and hed struggle off 140 in a handicap.
He will have a twist round and then have a rest before coming back out the summertime. Hes got a crack at this.
The Philip Hobbs-trained Thyme Hill, who was third at the Cheltenham Bumper, Paul Nicholls Trevelyns Corn and Alan Kings Harambe are among the fancied runners.
Nicholls told Sky Sports Writer:Its a competitive race on paper, however he had a breathing procedure in the summer and weve always had this race for a goal, because hes only a beginner until November 1.
He is healthy and well and must run well.
From the Dunraven Windows Novices Chase Curtis runs Lisnagar Oscar, well fancied for the Albert Bartlett year after winning a Grade Two.
Three miles at Chepstow could take a while getting, particularly first time out, but he did remain it nicely over obstructions, said Curtis.
I think hell encounter a fantastic piece for the encounter, but he will function as great as some of his competitors so I am hoping to get a fantastic run.
Hes not the greatest, but he is a clever little jumper. Im hoping he will earn a chaser, but we will find out on Friday.
OBriens De Title Evades Me is just another and was ultra-consistent over battles.
He never defeated us a year ago and hasnt been outside of the initial four because weve had him, said OBrien.
He was second in Cheltenham (to Aux Ptits Soins) on gentle earth, which we didnt think hed like, and is just a real solid horse. Im excited about seeing him.
He will enjoy the trip and its something to build on
The Professor Caroline Tisdall Supports Heroic Jumpers Veterans Handicap Chase sees a few old favorites like The Young Master line and Regal Encore up.
Curtis runs 2018 Scottish National hero Joe Farrell, that had been fancied for the Grand National itself last season but found it coming after injury.
He appears in really good form. He had an injury at this phase of the year, but he is alright now, said Curtis.
He ran a wonderful race at Newbury, but those remaining chasers desire time in their races and then we had been so pushed for some a while getting him ready for the National he probably didnt have sufficient time between his races.
Hopefully this season will work out much better because of him.
Perfect Candidate, who has the October and November meetings in his landscapes of Cheltenham is run by oBrien.
It will be a nice starting point for him personally, he is starting off here to up him to visit Cheltenham in a few weeks, said OBrien.
