Haggas hopes Young Rascal can tee up Hong Kong trip

William Haggas hopes Young Rascal can Reserve his ticket to Hong Kong with victory from the Teddington Royal British Legion Stakes at Newbury on Saturday week.

Having dead-heated for the Group Three competition – better called the St Simon Stakes – 12 months before, the son of Intello will bid for back-to-back successes in the mile-and-a-half event on his first start.
The Chester Vase hero of last year has not yet been sighted since beating one rival house in the Group 2 Jockey Club Stakes.
Haggas said:Hes a strong Group Three horse with much more to offer and now we have gelded him, we are trying to win some cash with him.
If he was to get back on form and win the St Simon Stakes, afterward hed get invited to Hong Kong.
He would go to Hong Kong a relatively fresh horse since he has had the summer off.
I quite fancy sending him to Australia next year also to get the Sydney Cup.
