Jordan Rankin and Joe Wardle Castleford-Huddersfield swap deals extended for 2020

Castleford and Huddersfield have expanded a swap deal involving second-rower Joe Wardle and utility back Jordan Rankin.
Rankin moved to the Tigers on loan in the start of the 2019 Super League season, with Wardle returning to Huddersfield as part of the bargain, and both players will now remain with their clubs to get 2020.
Tigers coach Daryl Powell is thrilled to secure the help of Rankin, a 27-year-old Australian who scored 18 goals and 11 tries in 22 appearances in 2019.
Jordan was excellent for us this season and were delighted to have him on board moving ahead, Powell stated.
He has been a superior player for all, particularly when he transferred to full-back, therefore I am absolutely delighted hell be with us next year and I am convinced he will reach additional heights as a player at the Tigers.
Rankin said:I can not tell you the last time I have been happy playing for a group like I am playing Cas.
Wardle, 28, who played for the Giants from 2011 to 2016, connected up with brother Jake in his return and, after an injury-hit season, is looking forward to renewing the family partnership season.
I am delighted to be playing with the Giants at 2020, Wardle said.
I am excited to be back at a bar with my brother and watch his development in addition to work hard for both sides again.
