Liverpool will win first Premier League title this season, says John Barnes

The team win the Premier League this year and to finish their title-drought of Jurgen Klopp has been backed by liverpool legend John Barnes.
Liverpool haven’t lifted the Premier League, with their last title coming from the First Division in 1990.
Klopp’s side did win the Champions League last season, though, and Barnes considers asserting their first trophy will lead to success.
He told Sky Sports News:”Last season, as well as Liverpool were playing right to the finish, I believed that Manchester City would acquire the league.
“This year I think Liverpool will win this jackpot. They have this determination, this confidence, this drive that they’ve won a decoration with Jurgen Klopp.
“What Klopp has instilled into this team is no explanations. So when teams give themselves excuses – since players are injured or they’ve only come back – they will drop points as they can fall points.
“Klopp won’t and he is instilled that into the group and the supporters. The players understand, there are no excuses with, regardless of whether they are playing. That is Liverpool’s strength”
Barnes, who spent ten years as a player at Anfieldand last weekend played down Sadio Mane in Burnley and the dispute between Mohamed Salah.
Mane responded after his strike-partner didn’t pass him the ballbut Barnes said:”The most significant issue is there is no hangover out of it, as well as Liverpool there won’t be.
“He’s individual and Jurgen Klopp stated himself’these things happen’, however there’ll be no spill-over from that.
“Ideally you don’t want this to occur since you don’t need to create disharmony, but that is not going to become a problem.”
